

Charlie Swift
As vice president, strategy and marketing operations for Hearst Magazines, Charlie Swift oversees Hearst Magazines’ Customer Data Management strategy and execution for Consumer Marketing and Advertising. Swift is also responsible for Hearst’s email marketing, marketing operations, newsstand channel, magazine circulation planning, finance and strategy, order fulfillment, customer service and list rental activities.
Prior to Hearst, Swift served as vice president, consumer marketing for LexisNexis, where he oversaw consumer marketing and market research efforts for the company's U.S. Legal Markets division from 2006 to 2008. Swift also held leadership positions at Columbia House Company from 2003 to 2005 and American Express Company from 1996 to 2003. Prior to American Express, Swift was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.
Swift received his undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering from Princeton University and his MBA from Columbia Business School. Swift is a current board member of Princeton Alumni Weekly magazine, Marketing EDGE, Mojn, Social Mail and the Seeger Bartlett Foundation. Swift and his team were winners of the 2014 DMA Marketer of the Year Award.
Swift lives in Scarsdale, NY. He is married to Nancy Swift, currently with Wells Fargo, and has two daughters Cameron, 18 and Courtney, 15. Swift is an active volunteer firefighter, enjoys scuba diving, skiing, biking, kayaking, hiking and all things Vermont and New England Patriots related.
